OUR STORY

Since the 9th century, the Viking longship has been a symbol and a vessel of exploration, trade, and cultural exchange. The pride of the Nordic people was their ability to cross the oceans in ways that no other civilization had done before. With the curiosity of the unknown, this guided them to uncover the world's riches, solidifying their place in history. 

It is this same drive of exploration that fills the sails of Longship Brewery in San Diego, CA. We fearlessly seek out bold ingredients combinations and daring styles. Our goal is to push the limits in order to create uniquely strong, smooth flavors with a determination for quality and variety. OUR BEER

We create an ever-changing list of unique brews that have included a Chocolate Orange Stout and a Red Ale with 7 Seas Coffee, but we also offer classic favorites like IPAs, Doppelbocks, Pilsners, and Blonde Ales. In the spirit of adventure, we also offer blends like our Chuck Special; a West Coast IPA blended with cold brew coffee. For a complete list of our current brews, check out our beer menu.

Make sure to get your crew together for our weekly events including trivia on Tuesdays and a happy hour every Wednesday from 3 - 6 PM. Make sure to visit our taproom on the weekends for our weekend infusions where we use a Randall to infuse ingredients such as fresh fruits, additional hops, and other flavors into your favorite Longship Brewery beer!
